OUCH.
Here is where I would start complaining about the fact that I've been in the worst fibro flare of my life since Wednesday, it just keeps getting worse and I'm in constant pain. Then Anonymom would reply that I shouldn't complain, and that nobody wants to read it...
But Anonymom can't comment, and I can't even complain about it. Anonymom tripped over a dog on Friday and fractured and dislocated her right shoulder. I have never seen anyone in the kind of pain she's been in. It's so heartrending to see someone you love suffer like that. LaserGirl called 911, and they took my mom to the hospital in the ambulance. They tried to put the shoulder back in place but she was in too much pain Friday night, so they had to admit her. They put her completely out on Saturday morning and were able to put the shoulder back. She's going to see the ortho surgeon sometime this week to see if anything needs to be done for the fracture or if it will heal by itself.
In the meantime, she is at least feeling much better. She'll be sort of out of commission for six weeks though, and my job is--somehow-- to make her realize that and stop trying to do too much. She's always so stoic, but she does not need to dislocate it again!
