Dress Rehersal

And so the day came the day before the wedding! It was such a day! The girls (Jackie, Kristen and Denise) arrived to help me run my errands. This of course included going to the reception site to pick up my little orange "lifeline" otherwise known as my planner. We diddled perhaps a bit too much and were finally off. I ended up having to leave a rather overwelhmed Mike to finish up a project for me.  I had a million things to get done and the girls were a lifesaver. I recall running around the Walgreens I believe it was impossibly alost late to get ready for the rehersal looking for a lipstick color, waterproof mascara and hair accessories. I was running around half mad zipping from asile to aisle leaving a trail of specifications and pleas for help to whatever unfortunate soul was near what I needed. Finally we bolted out of there and raced to the hotel to get ready. We jumped into clothes at a near impossible speed and flew to get to the rehersal. It came to pass that we somehow put the wrong address in the GPS and went nearly all the way to the wrong site! UGH! We informed a very stressed Mike and blazed as swift a trail as possible to the correct venue. I was a jangle of nerves and feeling super flustered from the lateness (I hate to be late!).
Finally we arrived and though a bit tense it all went easily. We went through the procession and the parts of the ceremony. We were short the JP (Sonia) and the readers but we did well none the less. We then went on to the Stonewell restaurant. The food was very nice and everyone had a fun time. We gave the gifts to the wedding party members and Mike's parents.
At the end of the night I had to say goodnight to my groomie to be till the wedding. I felt a little  clingy and emotional and hugged and smooched him a few extra times. It was so unreal feeling that we were on the verge of our wedding day. I went back to the hotel with the girls and eventually put head to pillow to sleep.......
