sigh
this weekend in ithaca was amazing....so busy the whole time, got to see everyone i wanted who was left in town...
friday:
got to ithaca around 730. went straight to mike and emilys place. saw their new puppy moxie rockstar...this lil pom (and i hate lil dogs that should be used for punting practice) but she wasn't really annoying barking all the time, and she has the smallest tongue, especially compared to tashas...shes cute. we went to ZaZa's for dinner. mmmm. had a couple greygoose and cranberries...declicious...then we went to maxies so i could bug baker and i got 2 more cranberry vodkas. then we went to noras. i think. then back up to emily and mikes. drank a bottle of champagne. assed out on their couch around 3am.
saturday: woke up at 9am, couldn't fall back to sleep. went to the farmers market. met up w/ nora, emily, annalisa, marcus and jenna. got coffee. bought some beautiful cards taken by this local photographer. said g'bye to marcus. then me and em went to the commons. got a scone from junas. bought an ithaca is gorges t-shirt cuz i managed to go to school there and NEVER buy one =) then em went home. i picked up nora, we went to bakers and got wicked stoned b4 he had to go to work. dropped nora off. i went to the pastry shop to visit w/ baby Ilah one last time and say hi to sarah and her wife. they told me if there was a hurricane or if i wanted to leave FL and dick around Ithaca more, that i'd def have a job babysitting for them always...then dani girl met me there, we went to AC Moore cuz we're nerds and bought hello kitty stuff cuz i am now obsessed. then we went to emily and mikes place. drank a bottle of wine and chilled out a lil. then me and her went to dinner at the famous Moosewood. sooooo goooooood. then we went to noras. smoked a fat ass blunt. then me and dani went to maxies for a drink w/ baker once he got off from work. then i said bye to dani. so sad. i love that girl. she is like a sister...
then i went home w/ baker. smoked. ate some mushrooms. felt like we were gonna trip but then nothing happened so that was kind of disappointing. but fun nonetheless. mary and erin came home around idk when. good to see them. erin said she misses my laugh. =) i miss them all. assed out around 4am.
sunday:
woke up at like 10. got breakfast at good old Hals deli one last time with baker, al, nora, emily and mike. oh and moxie. then said bye to emily and mike. sad. weird. awkward kinda. not really. idk...
she made me 5 cds for the car ride down. and gave me the IS pieces i collaborated w/ her in the awesome nice frames. yay! oh and the best card with this boston terrier w/ this silly smile on its face. heh.
then went to noras w/ the the rest of them. waited for a bag. didn't get it. got high. said g'bye. dropped baker off. said g'bye to ithaca.
it's just so weird moving someplace where i won't even be able to drive to see anyone if i really wanted to and could...
that town is so beautiful...i'm glad i know it's there...
and i'll be back for nor and al's graduation in may! so, its easier knowing i'll be back there in less than a year. that helps.
once i was home i had to finish packing, but felt like a zombie so i took about an hour nap. when i was woken up by gina puttin cooper (kerri's dog) on my head! so i packed. and packed and packed. then around 9 i took gina back to newburgh w/ laura w. smoked and rocked out to queens greatist hits cd. good times. came home. tried to finish packing, but couldn't and just passed out.
then today i had to wake up at 9am, packed up my car, showered finally then went over to drew's to help w/ the movers. didn't have to do much. and now i'm waitin to have some dinner w/ mom then a quick shoppin trip. then a nice long sleep so hopefully i don't get sick.
moving in 3 days. woa.
