Thank My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Almighty That It's Friday
It's been a long week, and I've only worked three days.
My office is being renovated for the next two weeks, which gives me two weeks to not wake up at six o'clock. What it's also given me is a very bad backache. I threw my back out some how this week, and moving any of my limbs is exceedingly difficult and really quite painful. The upside to this is that I stayed home from work yesterday and luxuriated in being able to sleep until 11:30. It was glorious. Today, though, I'm back in my little cube, shivering under the A/C vent because I forgot to bring a sweater. It's going to be a long day.
Phil and I have a fun night planned, which is also going to make the day go even slower. He's coming in on the train and will get to my office around 4, at which point I will merrily sign myself out. We're going to the New Deck for drinks, and then taking the bus downtown to the Continental for dinner. After dinner, we're headed to Jordan's for a party, and then crashing at Beth's house. Fun fun fun.
Last night, Phil and I met up with Nate, Lou, Dime, Kurt, Ray, Hindley and Britt at Kildare's. Good times were had, quizzo was played and lots of beer was drank. It was nice to get out for a change. Phil and I are such hermits.
