I think Suzuki Chihiro must have broken a few vocal chords from all the screaming he did. When he did those crying scenes, I really felt sad and wanted to give Luke a hug.
Van is the perfect image of a child molester. He really kept Luke coming back for more.
Tear needs to stop apologizing to Luke! She should be more like C.C. and tell him to sleep on the floor!

The group didn't take the boat... (I think they did in the video game, but since I haven't played it, I might be wrong) Natalia got on the ship with Van and then Dist came and sunk it... Van knocked Natalia out, but Asch came to the rescue! Yay for AschNata!
Guy was so emotional it was great! His V.A. even said that Guy seemed more straightforward about things than in the video game. Guy's avoidance of women was also nicely done in this volume.
Anise and Jade didn't get enough lines! I wonder if they will be the two doing the extra track next time...
I got on YouTube and watched a scene from the English version of Tales of the Abyss. I couldn't help but laugh when they pronounced Van like the van you would drive. I was expecting it to be pronounced like "vahn", so when they said it, I pictured a van painted like Van's clothing. Then I pictured his head on the front of the van like you would see in those Thomas the Tank Engine shows...
