One morning after Izaya and Shizuo have sex, Izaya wakes up to find Shizuo has grown wings on his back. Shizuo tries to rip the wings off but they grow right back. Shizuo starts to realize that his wings keep him from being angry at Izaya. He also finds that he is noticing more about Izaya’s various emotions now that he isn’t exploding with anger all the time. The second day they spend together, Izaya notices that Shizuo’s wings reveal how much he enjoys their sex. On the third day, Shizuo orders Izaya to cut the wings off his back. Izaya finds himself unable to follow such a request…
The novel takes place directly after the end of the doujinshi part. Izaya keeps one of Shizuo’s feathers and stores it on his bookshelf. He thinks that Shizuo won’t visit him again, but Shizuo stops by to raid his fridge. >_>;; The feather mysteriously disappears after that and Izaya discusses the wing incident with Shizuo. Izaya really liked those wings…

As Tom and Shizuo head out to eat lunch, Shizuo picks up on Izaya’s scent. What they find is Izaya dressed in a bunny ear maid costume. Izaya believes such a costume will finally knock out Shizuo. However, Shizuo’s reaction is rather unexpected… Izaya steps up the theatrics and we find out he’s wearing a thong… XD In the end, Shizuo is forced to take responsibility for his actions and decides he must date Izaya. The last few pages of the doujinshi feature Kasuka explaining the different foods featured on the cover and it shows his reaction to Shizuo dating Izaya.

It’s that time of year in high school where students go on a field trip. Shizuo, Izaya, Kyouhei, and Shinra have been put in a separate part of the train for obvious reasons. Shizuo flings something at Izaya and accidentally detaches their part of the train. They are left in the train tunnel to fend for themselves. After 3 days, they try to break out. Izaya and Shizuo get separated from the others at that time. Just as Shizuo tries to kill Izaya, it is revealed that Izaya was injured in the train accident and is bleeding pretty badly. However, all is not what it seems…
The last few pages of this doujinshi feature an insanely funny scene where Shizuo is sitting in a McDonald’s while Izaya dances like an idiot. Then he gets hit by a truck…

Kasuka supposedly has a girlfriend and Shizuo starts to put distance between himself and Kasuka. Then he finds Kasuka hanging around Shiki and questions Kasuka about it. Kasuka doesn’t understand why Shizuo thinks he has a girlfriend when the only person he’s been sleeping with is Shizuo. After Kasuka is hospitalized for malnutrition, Shizuo carries him home. On the way home, Kasuka asks Shizuo what made him sleep with him in the first place. It seems like they were both acting like idiots and placing distance between each other so that the other could find happiness. This main doujinshi is followed by some short comics about Shizuo and Verona playing with Kasuka’s cat and Kasuka and Shizuo going on a date to Disney Land (with Kasuka dressed as a girl).

Izaya wakes up one day to find Kururi and Mairu sleeping next to him and pretty much glomping the life out of him. This causes him to remember his high school years when he first introduced them to Shizuo. When the sisters first met Shizuo, they told him to not steal their Iza-nii from them. Later on, Kururi gets targeted as a hostage and Izaya has to save her. However, Izaya isn’t strong enough so Mairu brings in Shizuo to help. Back in the present, Izaya calls Shizuo to his apartment with the hopes that it will get his sisters to get off of him. In the end, the group of 4 wind up going out to eat sushi together. There is a short comic at the end that shows how Izaya has been able to keep thugs away from his sisters for so many years.

He pretty much freaks out after that but begins to think that maybe some higher force is sending him a preview of his future.

Izaya is observing humans during the lunch break. Shinra walks into the classroom and asks to borrow a book and Izaya’s notes. Izaya agrees, but then he soon realizes two things: 1) Shinra is bringing those things to Shizuo and 2) Izaya’s secret pictures of Shizuo are in that notebook. When Shizuo sees the images he chases after Izaya and demands to know why he took those images. The next day, images of Izaya kissing a sleeping Shizuo are hanging on all of the bulletin boards. Shizuo goes to kill Izaya but receives a kiss from him instead. Shizuo pretty much gives in and decides to go along with Izaya’s dating plans for a while. Shinra discovers that Shizuo might even consider Izaya as a lover if Izaya would only make a love confession…
