(no subject)
I am not even that angry about the election, more sad, embarrassed, and dissappointed. The entire exprerience is surreal to the extreme. I never thought that Californians would be so dumb that they would elect an action movie star with no experience as the governor of the most populous state in the nation. Florida has nothing on us now! I really just want to cry about the whole thing, and I keep checking CNN.com to see if there is any change in the poll. It has basically stayed at 46% for No on the recall and 54% for Yes on the recall for a long time. The only way anything different would come out is if the last 20% of California ALL voted No. I feel like my first time voting was totally wasted...I wish that my vote would have counted. The situation is this: so far Davis (no on recall) has 2,699,117 votes, and Arnold has 2,602,797 votes. Does this sound familiar? Yeah the winner is the person with the second most votes...I am so glad we live in a democracy! OK, enough of my whining, I am sure everyone else I know is upset as well. I suppose I will do my homework and pretend that nothing is different, and that we aren't the most embarrassing state in the nation.
