Leaving for Ireland tomorrow morning. Flight leaves at 10am, so we have to be up at 630. Ew. Oh well, not too bad when you know it's for a good cause. Hee. Shawna is terrified that we'll die in a plane crash because she's not heard of the airline, but they're the only ones it seems that fly out of Cardiff to Dublin anymore. They're Aer Arran or ( Read more... )

We got your postcard today! Thank you. The girl loves it :)

Ah, cheese. CHEESE!

Do try not to cause pestilence while you're there, okay?

Oh yay! Yeah, that's the area we were in! We were just off Victoria Street and the Victoria tube station was our tube. And the Victoria Coach Station shops provided much entertainment. So we give much thanks to Victoria. Hee.

CHEESE! Haven't had it yet. Will do when Shawna's off the phone with her mother.

God, I know. Gah.

I know a certain little girl who is going to be giggling like her mother a loony when I tell her about that.

My boy is jealous. CHEESE! You know it's something when cheese is an event.

Hordes of locusts will descend on Ireland tomorrow.

Hee. Great.

Haha. Cheese is awesome.

Gah! Don't say that.

Okay, leaving now. Try to check mail once or twice while in Ireland for the next 8 nights. <3

I'm at some cheapy internet kiosk in the St. Stephen's Center (a mall thing), and I don't know when I'll be around to check my email again, but if you want to shoot me an email with your address, go ahead. It's my username at gmail.

I've been on that airline before and we didn't crash, so not to worry! I'm sure you won't see this in time but it's the thought that counts, right?

We didn't get rain today! We've had less since you've been on the same island! Scotland thanks you. :D

Have a safe Irish trip and if you go into Gogarty's (the pub I told you about) check the ladies' loos and see if the quote from 'One' that I scribbled on the cubicle wall is still there. I'm such a vandal!

Hey, I got this like a week and a half ago when you sent it, but wasn't really able to reply at the time, but I wanted to let you know that that was a comfort for Shawna who was pretty terrified about the whole prop plane thing. So thank you!

We didn't make it there, sadly. But we did a whole lotta stuff.

Aww, well I'm glad if it helped in any way! I myself am terrified of flying even on standard big planes, so I was pretty scared when I got on it, but it wasn't so bad. I don't think I'd do it again in a hurry, though! Cause I am a big scaredy cat. ;)

Email me about your whole lotta stuff! Glad you had a good time, love!

Ooooooo... UK cheese. Mmmmmm. Enjoy it while you can. Last time I was in Ireland, all I could find in the stores was cheddar. Still, it was Irish cheddar. And may I recommend that you try eating cheese on a split farl? Run it under the grill till the cheese is nice and melty. If you don't know what farls are, Ireland is the place to find out ;)

I don't know what your Dublin plans are, and it's possible I've mentioned this already, but I cannot recommend Kilmainham Gaol strongly enough. Great sense of history. Have fun and have a pint of Guinness for me!

Dude, thanks for the recommendation. We totally went to the jail and it was awesome. Plus, as students, it only cost us 2 euro. Sweeeeet.
