I've been up since 1.30 this morning. Yes you read that right, and no it's not a typo. I got my parents from the airport and got home at 9.30pm to a pounding, nauseating headache. So I went to bed and got up at 1.30am to finish studying for my finals and basically do shit that I really should have done a long time ago. Now that I'm home, though, I don't feel much like napping. How is it 1.30pm and I've been awake for 12 hours? That seems really wrong. Probably because it is wrong.

My parents returned from three weeks in England and Wales last night, and this afternoon they gave me all the stuff they bought for me. It's kind of ridiculous. One shirt that says Wales and one that says the longest place name in the world. A tiny jar of Marmite (like Vegemite wasn't bad enough!), some cute little things like pens and pins, U2: the Ultimate Encyclopedia, and a vinyl record of October. How cute is that?! They only paid £4 for it, and it seems to be from 1981. I love that it's Adam Clayton on bass and just "Larry" on drums. It's like he was going for a nickname except not. Aaaaanyway.

Finals are over and OMG I'm happy. I'm so done with school. And I think the entire point of this post was so that I could do that stupid meme lardencelover dragged me into without having to make it be the whole post.

What lowers your stress/blood pressure/anxiety level? Make a list, post it to your journal... and then tag 5 friends and ask them to post it to theirs. Or you can post in comment form if you desire.

1. Sleep. Yes, I'm boring, but seriously, I never get enough of it, so it's nice when I finally get some sleep.

2. Music. Like everyone else, of course. But in order for it to do the trick, it has to be at ridiculously high volumes.

3. Read. Anything. Literally anything. Sometimes when I'm at a hotel and don't know what to do with myself, I end up reading the Bible for shits and giggles.

4. Talk. I think this one is 4 and 5, because talking really de-stresses me. And if you've met me in person (and probably even if you haven't) you'll know what I mean. Generally talking and laughing are integral to the de-stressing process.

I'm not tagging anyone, because people always hate it when I tag them, and I'm sick of hearing wootsauce whine at me about it.

This post is far longer than neccessary, but dammit, since I'm paying for LJ, I'll be damned if I don't use it!
