"Darknesses!!"
Well, darkness fell upon my neighborhood for a couple days there.
That tornado bitch-slapped my apartment complex. Mother Nature decided she didn't like the landscaping of the area, so she rearranged everything, and took out all the trees in a previously wooded area. She added a bunch of power lines and roofing as lawn decor. And decided that she liked all the trees on their sides, instead of standing upright. I make jokes, but that's my way of dealing.
I'm finally back in my apartment though, because I have power again. But, still... no phone line, which means no internet access. So, I'm sitting up at school right now... just checking ye ol' e-mail. I could sit here and try to explain the craziness of the last few days, but...
a) I don't think words on a page do it justice
b) I don't care to spend too much time in the school library
c) I'm sure no one wants to read a novel
d) It's freakin' freezing in the computer lab (even for me!)
But, alas... I'm around. And, until I get my phone lines back... try calling my cell phone if you need something, because I don't know how often I'll make it to the school to check e-mail. Hopefully, it won't take too long to get my phones back, but I just don't know at this point, because there's a lot of destruction all around. I feel lucky to already have power back on. I feel lucky that my apartment is livable. It could have been a lot worse.
