KORRA!
I have some down time at work at the mo, so I figured I’d type up some of my Legend of Korra feelings. FOR I HAVE LOTS OF THEM.
I think I said back at when I watched A:TLA that had I watched the show when it was actually airing, I would have been a bigger fangirl. The more I rewatch the series, the more I fall in love with it. And now, I actually have a series that I’m watching as it airs, so I’m gonna let my freak fly.
Guys… I can’t even… how much I love this show. I love Korra, I love Bolin, I love Mako, I love Tenzin and his family OH GOD DO I LOVE THEM.
The animation/ environment incorporation has improved greatly. I can’t get over how beautiful this show looks. I have gifs that I go through frame-by-frame for posing breakdowns. OH EVER THE ANIMATOR I AM.
I’m going to be an emotional wreck the first time Korra talks to Aang. Hell, I already was during that five second flashback with Sokka, Toph and Aang in the most recent episode. And then Korra sees Tenzin running towards her and she’s like “…Aang?” SCREAMS.
Someone needs to breed fire ferrets to be real so I can have one.
The only thing I’m having so-so feelings about is the love interest push. It’s not that I prefer one brother over the other, because I like them both. I’m just getting tired of Team ______ vs Team ______ fights I see in every fandom ever. It’s quite possible to be friends with someone and not get involved, SHOCKING I KNOW.
If only this pesky incest squick wouldn’t get in the way, or I’d totally be over the OT3. Awwww yeah.
