So, like many other people, I saw Inception last night.
AMAZING movie. Then again, I've enjoyed every Christopher Nolan movie I've seen and this one was no different. Now I wants to watch me some Batman movies. And Memento.
Of course, I think M. Night Shyamalan movies (you know, from The Sixth Sense era and not anything recently) have made me suspicious of every movie that I see, so I kept thinking to myself "This is all a dream. This is all a dream. This is all a dream. This is all a dream." throughout the entire movie. You can take that the top not toppling at the end either that it IS a dream, or a IS IT/ISN'T IT? OMG WE'LL NEVER KNOW since it cuts to black. I took it that he was dreaming the whole thing and his wife was right all along.
UGH, SO GOOD.
Also, it took me about half the movie to realize that Eames' character was played by the dude who played Picard's clone in Star Trek: Nemesis. My revelation of it might seem somewhat girly, but I sure as hell recognized those lips! Mmmmmmm.
