Okay, I’m tired of being sad. Let’s get to Doctor Who and HAPPY PLACE.
I loved “The Lodger” if only for the fact that the Doctor was wearing a soccer football jersey with the number 11 on it. Now, I totally realize it’s a reference to him being the Eleventh Doctor (ALSO, HE REFERRED TO HIMSELF AS ELEVEN DURING HIS EPIC PSYCHIC HEADBUTT SJFKLDSJFKLS), but when I played soccer football for twelve years, I was usually #11 because it’s my favorite number. The only time I wasn’t #11 was when I made the varsity team in high school and someone already established on the team had the number. So I went with #7. It rhymes!
Also, I want to play against the Doctor in soccer football because I would wipe the floor with him. I'm not the best player, but I think I could take him on.
But I loved “The Lodger” aside from the soccer football game match. I was lulzing throughout the whole episode because it was INTENTIONALLY hilarious for once. I lost it especially during the naked!Doctor sequence where HE COVERS HIS ALIEN NIPPLES. And he’s SINGING. AND THE BEST PART IS HIS SHOWER HAIR. <3

I knew this episode felt familiar! I read that comic that’s mentioned in the above article and kept thinking back to it. Oh, I wish I could see that episode come to life where Mickey and the Doctor are roomies. I SMELL SITCOM.
Oh, SHOW. I want to draw hearts around THIS episode. I can't believe this season is already almost over! TOO SOON, S5.
Also, I forgot to mention I was attacked by a bat. Well, I say "attacked". It was more of a very confused bat flying into my face. I may have 'eeked' a bit because I thought it was a bee, but it was SO CUTE, OMG.
