OMG, I don't think I've power-watched as much TV as I have this past week. I work much better with something playing in the background, so just this past week, I've gone through 30 Rock S3, Ashes to Ashes S2, Doctor Who S1, S2 and just started up S3. Also add in there movies and shows that aired this week. My eyeballs are going squarish.
I'm rewatching Who to prepare and psych myself for Orlando and get back into EEEE!SHOW!mode. I don't know about you guys, but my fannishness sort of faded over this hiatus. But with the new pics I've seen for S5, I'm getting excited again, even though I know I'm going to be depressed as all hell come this holiday season. I know. Pathetic, right? I’m totally eager to see what Eleven, Amy and Moffat bring to the table, but I don’t want to let go just yet. YES, I KNOW I’M LAME.
But yes, HW is next week, which I hope will be a blast. I’ve already checked the weather. I know it’s a bit too far away to be accurate, but mid-80s and sunny? Yes, I’ll be by the pool on Thursday afternoon before the shenanigans start. I’ve got a total of four panels, one of them is Main Programming. O____O I should probably brush up on my comic lore, but I HAVE NO TIME. Weeeeeeeeeeep.
Latest update of Babiez is done, nesting dolls are done, they just need to be photographed and posted online sometime this week. A bonus about freelancing… I was worried about when I was gonna do laundry, but since I haven’t left my apartment in a week, all my nicer clothes are still clean. HURRAH. I dyed my hair yesterday. It’s a bit darker than before, but no matter. I like it. Sorry, I’m mental check listing all the stuff I have to do before I leave on Thursday. I’m getting stressed for time! I had a ton of it just last week, and now, nothing! I'M NOT COMPLAINING, I'M NOT COMPLAINING, I'M NOT COMPLAINING.
This freelance stuff is fun, but so time-consuming. The last time I animated was... almost a year and a half ago? Cripes! Plus, it's a brand new style to get the hang of, so I'm not going as fast as I'd like (as the only break I've taken for myself was Friday night). I hope to get to that point soon. No, no. I need to get to that point soon. But I'm learning new things, and Flash is so my bitch right now.
John Oliver & Friends was lovely and hilarious. It was a taping for a new show on Comedy Central. We were even exposed to "TV magic", where they actually filmed two episodes and just swapped the audience around a bit to make it look like it was a new one.
gina_r_snape and I were in pretty good locations each time, the second even better. There is going to be a good chance my lulzy face is going to be on TV. Also, I knew this and all, but in real life, Janeane Garofalo is TINY.
