I still think it should just be "sloppy seconds."

People need to get a life. If we really need to get serious:

A. There's nothing inherently offensive about the phrase, "handy" unless there's some etiquette when dealing with alien/human hybrid clones born of HANDS that I don't understand. In this same vein, why is it demeaning? Could it not be a term of endearment? It means close at hand or skillful. Positive things!
Really. Save your righteous justice for something that matters. For starters: something that is real.

B. What if you don't love the character HANDY? Maybe that's why you call him such a cruel name.

C. Please to provide other nicknames if Handy is deemed inappropriate: Doctor 2.0., sloppy seconds, Dustin, handjob, shitty screenwriting cop out clone- for example.

D. Bears repeating: alien/human hybrid clones born of a HAND. Why do we even care what people call him? Why are we thinking that hard about fandom nicknames?

E. Doctor Who doesn't really care what any fans think- BECAUSE GUESS WHAT GUYS!

/eta: had a look at the fandom secret post. Ugh. Losing even more squee, not to mention patience.

I lost my Whosquee a while ago, which is why I started attending the DWNY meet ups. Right now, it's simmering at a very low temp. I'm trying to kick it into gear and finish another part of Babiez, but having stuff due with deadlines, it's tough!

I know! I was like, "WHY AM I SO DISPROPORTIONALLY ANGRY, WHY IS THIS SO FUN."
