That's almost as bad as the time I fell asleep on one of my trips over the Atlantic. I fell asleep toward the end, and was woken up by a really bad landing where the guy dropped the plane. I thought we were crashing so I woke up and yelled.
Yeah, there was lots of screaming on this one. I don't think I let out a yelp.
And yeah, when we were landing, I was still thinking that I wouldn't be okay until we got to the gate and that seatbelt light turned off. But it was a good landing and the pilot got a round of applause.
OH GOD TERRIFYING An experience like that is what convinced my aunt Marcia to never fly again. I'm so glad you're okay, what a scary thing to endure...
This definitely won't stop me from flying, but yeah. A bit nerve-wracking. I normally love that roller-coaster feeling of floating out of my seat, but not in an airplane at a high altitude!
