Oh god, I can't stop watching these videos. basalt linked me to them. I don't play Half Life at all, but it doesn't matter. I've read fics like this:

1. You have 50 dollars in your pocket - what do you do with it?
First, I'd be like “WOO! UNEXPECTED MONEY!” And then I'd probably go shopping somewhere. First choice would probably be Virgin because I'm a DVD whore. Or I'd go clothes shopping in SoHo.
2. What is your most guilty pleasure?
It used to be watching stuff like “America's Next Top Model”, but I don't even watch that anymore. I guess... really really bad movies. Like “Pirate Movie”. OH, do I love that movie.
3. Have you ever seen someone die?
Nope.
4. Are you confused as to what lies ahead of you?
Of course. I always jokingly say that I don't think I'll live beyond the age of 30 just because I can't imagine what my life will be like at that point. It's only five years away. Then again, I didn't think I'd be living in NYC.
5. What was the last movie you saw, for pleasure, and would you recommend it?
In theaters: “Persepolis”. I recommend. On Stevie: I can't even remember... probably “Once”, and that too, I recommend.
6. Superman or Batman?
But, I love both! The Batman/Superman movie? Yes please. Oh fine, probably Batman because he's all awesome and doesn't rely on superpowers.
7. If the person you like does not accept you, would you continue to wait for them to change their feelings?
I'm assuming this means if it's someone that I'm attracted to. No, I wouldn't wait. I have more important things to do than to sit around waiting for a possibility.
8. If the person you secretly like is already attached, what would you do?
Nothing. He's attached. I'm not going to be “that girl” and break them apart just because I'm selfish.
9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy recently?
Probably, though it's more of a passing “I AM IRRITATED” thing rather than make me really unhappy. It takes a lot to piss me off.
10.If you could have chosen at birth whether to be a boy or a girl, which would you be?
I like being a girl, but I would have chosen to not have the monthly pains that come with it.
11. Which of the 7 Deadly Sins do you think you relate to the most & why?
Probably Sloth. I need to take up running again to get rid of a few pounds around the midsection because my pants are uncomfortable now. Hurry up, cold! I want to go running in Central Park! *kicks winter*
12. Thunderstorms - cool or scary?
Awesome. We don't have them in California so when I moved to Georgia for college, I'd get all sorts of giggly when we'd have a storm. No, really. My roommate would tell me to shut up.
13. Clinton or Obama?
Haaaaaaa, I love that it's a Democrats-only option. Let's not even bother with those silly Republican options, shall we? FTW. I prefer Obama. I like his views, he's charming, and he seems like he's the least-crazy of the candidates. Yes. He must go into office. Now.
14. Would you rather be a really good person or a really interesting person?
I hope I'm both. I can't be the judge of this, because who knows if I'm interesting or not?
15. Do you believe in some form of life after death?
As a straight-up Heaven/Hell? Nah. That's too black-and-white and limiting. I prefer in thinking that if there is anything beyond this life, it encompasses any and every belief. Actually, I really like how "Dead Like Me" addresses the afterlife. It's not about religion at all, it's all about the person.
16. Which fictional character could you most see yourself marrying?
No one, really. First of all, I'm not marriage material, I think. There's something about being with someone that really bothers me, because I have problems enough with holding onto friends for more than a few years, let alone the rest of my life. Second of all, most of the characters that I like are totally not marriage material.

Yes.
18. Do you have a motto? If yes which one?
“Do what you love, love what you do.” It's the slogan from HSS (Huntington Surf & Sport... it's a really famous surf shop back home).
19. What type of friends do you have?
Awesome ones, that's what.
20. What place most speaks to you?
What does this even mean? I like the area that I grew up in. There's canyons to go hiking in, there's the beach, and there's just a overall calmness to it all, even if you live in a fast-paced sort of world. New Yorkers are too uptight and wound up. Seriously, people just need to relax. I also love going to Kauai. My family used to go every couple of years. It's one of the least popular Hawaiian islands, so it's not as overwhelmingly touristy like Oahu (which I also like, but that was with my soccer team). I love the Hawaiian spirit. And I like Fiji, too.
