so much crap, but it all blends together
I got the revised fire crew physical requirements, and i think i'm going to be sore until June. I need to run a mile and a half in less then 10 minutes minutes, which is pretty fucking fast. I can do it in like 12 now, so it's doable, but painful. I've never run this much before, so all this achy crap is weirding me out, I'm not sure when it's minor, or if i really hurt myself.
The dog is doing pretty good. She was really well behaved in anchorage, but i went running with her yesterday, and right at the end when this car was coming down the road, she wouldn't come when i called her. She just looked at me and was like' eh, no.' I got pissed, and then she got all scared and ran off. It was great, because i was all tired, but i forgot all about that and sprinted after her. She got whacked and tied up and was very sorry the rest of the day. But all is well now, she's my little doggy.
I also learned a very valuable lesson about women friday night. I went to the bar friday night to ummmm, chase girls and drink, and all was going well. I ran into these two girls i kind of knew and was really hitting it off with one of them. Then we start playing foosball and i start with the other one. ALL RIGHT! no, if you get ambitious and start hitting on two girls at the same time, make sure they aren't roommates. instead of being invited in for shenanigans, you go home to a tent. maybe it could have been totally fucking awesome if i had pulled that one off, but alas, no.
also getting a truck this summer, a light toyota for building my cabin and carrying heavy things. I like four wheel drive, and i'm tired of having my only car break down. Backup will be nice.
going to build a cabin instead of a garage too. Concrete is very expensive, so i'll wait on that. nice cozy warm cabin, mmmmmm. heat and hard walls. and a kitchen, too!
and the funniest thing of the week was the grades i got on my midterms. I was freaking out, because two of them were pretty tough, and in one of those classes, the professor was telling up how disappointed she was in our scores and how low they were. I got an 85.5, 89.5, and a 95 on them. It was great, but i felt like an asshole in front of all the other people that studied harder and did worse. Oh well, luck of the devil.
