Coming back now

So I'll be in Fairbanks on Saturday, but I'm going to be tired as heck, so i might lay low for a couple days. Too much excitement.

I have two shotguns to play with now, because my dad loaned me his for the winter. It's a lot of fun because it shoots those 3 inch magnum shells. They hurt. It's so good. Big Boom.

I did a lot of stuff down here, but if I stay too much longer, i'll just start goofing off again. That's how it always works i guess, at least for me. Stay home too long and you turn into a kid again.

Took my dad to the airport this morning because he got called onto a well. They're opening another one up, so there's more production for you all. It was pretty good, and it was funny, because he was talking about how much he wishes I were staying here this summer, for all the complaining he does about me. Cracks me up, but at least we're getting along. And he pretty much gave me his gun. Yay!

I think the person that wishes I was staying most of all is my cool little cousin. He wants to built a shotgun-cannon that shoot one pound balls or whatever you shove down it. That would be frickin' awesome, but i'll be gone. Knock a telephone pole down with that. And I buy alcohol for him, but mostly we just hang out and do nifty stuff, like climb rocks and plot out how to do our brewery when we get old.

So now begins part two of the summer, and I've got some more stuff for it. Two knives, another sleeping bag, another shotgun, a crapload of traps, two fishing poles (must buy more), empty shell casing to reload, two more pairs of heavy boots, another parks, and a bunch of knicknack crap my mom got me. So many toys, but all that and all my clothes fit in a suitcase, guncase, and a rubbermaid tub. Very manly packing. I'm proud.
