qarylla and I went to the bank and then met balsamicdragon and the Lion Cub for brunch. We tried to go to Sabur, but it wasn't open yet. Oops. So instead, we wnt to Johnny D's. Oatmeal with a metric ton of brown sugar, yum. After that, we briefly stopped at Spark for qarylla to get some yarn befor heading in our separate ways. I was going to sell balsamicdragon Dragon Quest heroes, but she mentioned that she had a copy of Children of Mana she was planning to sell, so we just traded instead. Not that I have any idea when I'll have time to play it.
After dropping things off at home, I went out to Borders (decided not to get anything just yet) and the Sports Authority. I now have a hockey stick, plus tape and a ball. It wasn't nearly as expensive as I expected (probably because I didn't get one of the carbon-fiberglass-plutonium models I saw online over the last week), so I should be able to replace my functional-but-no-better skates soon. Now I just have to watch the Yahoo group alhandra pointed me to and see when I can start playing. Or convince qarylla to get a stick for herself...
