Nance Pants!
Saturday night, I finally found out the birthday plans that qarylla was trying desperately to convince me I wanted to ask about. We had dinner at the Tavern at the Square with mr_q_o_p, queenofpink77, jr_psykira, prevenger, dm_bashir and middle_sis. I'm still going through their whole menu, and still haven't met anything I didn't like. Afterwards, we occupied the Sofas of Mortal Peril, where I got gifts (thanks!) and qarylla ran a BESM one-shot. I got to be the street magician with shape changing and elemental magic. Much of the discussin revolved around the fact that dm_bashir's character did not appear to have any pants. We didn't quite finish (too little time for how on track this group normally stays), but I had a lot of fun and I think she earned some volunteers when she decides to run a campaign.
Yesterday qarylla and I did some shopping, and then I came home and watched the MLS Cup. New England lost in what may have been the most excruciating way possible - scoring with 7 minutes left in the game, then getting sloppy and letting the other team tie the score before losing on penalty kicks.
I took today and tomorrow off, and have been/am planning to be lazing. At some point, I need to come up with a list of things for qarylla to do if she doesn't meet her word count that either I'm willing to do or can go undone if she does make enough progress on NaNoWriMo.
I also need to figure out how to invest enough time in Fire Emblem, Final Fantasies II and XII, Valkyrie Profile 2 and Lego Star Wars II and still have the condo clean and ready for Wii fun next weekend.
