Ludicrous Speed! Now!
qarylla and I planned to go to Six Flags today with some free tickets we got. A little over an hour from home, the speedometer started registering 0. We pulled into a nearby plaza in case restarting it would help. It's not a computer; after that, it still ran, but still registered 0, and wouldn't upshift. We managed to get the car to Ludlow and, on the third try, found an open mechanic. They diagnosed the problem as a faulty speed sensor and tried and failed to find a replacement part. So they are keeping my car until it can be fixed, and qarylla and I took a cab to Springfield, then a bus and the T home.
