Wormhole Jumping
As I closed my copy of Komarr while getting off the subway this morning, I noticed another passenger engrossed in a copy of Cetaganda. What a strange astrography of Bujold's universe we must have made. As far as I know, there was no one there reading Barrayar to complete the map, though.
I may need to replace my TV soon. Ours is having a strange problem: the first time it is turned on in a session, it is fuzzy for a few seconds, then the screen goes black. Shutting it off and then turning it back on immediately results in a few more seconds of fuzz followed by picture. I have no long how long it will survive like this. I have wanted a bigger, wider TV for a while, but it has been no means a priority. Unless the one we have breaks, of course. I wonder just how much of an upgrade I can afford?
I need less angry icons and at least one tech icon. Suggestions for source welcome, though I plan to do it myself once I know what it should be.
