RORY IS A TIMELORD. NO WAIT, HEAR ME OUT!
OK, so last season Rory gets shot by that lizard person at the center of the earth then gets swallowed by the crack!light and for some reason becomes a plastic man? Ok, so what if Rory was a Time Lord masquerading as a human and we just haven't seen his fob watch yet. And the crack!light did a weird regeneration thingy and turned him into a plastic dude for some reason instead of making him properly regenerate.
Because when Big Bang 2: The Bangening happened, the universe reset and made Rory a human!fob!watch!timelord again because HOW is he able to remember his time as a Roman? And the Doctor has lived all these lives and had a family, etc and has made mention of being able to remember when he wants to..kinda like a door, eh? eh? So Rory the Roman!Timelord-in-disguise can still have a door brain but still be kinda daft because maybe he rode the Gallifrey short-bus or something?
Ok that insane theory gets us to here: The little regenerating girl is River. HEAR ME OUT! Amy and Rory are River's parents but they don't know it yet and Amy's all is she/isn't she pregnancy makes River all loopy timeliney PLUS she's like half Timelord because of her Rory the Roman father, so she can regenerate but not indefinitely because she's only half which is why she dies in Silence at the Library?
Or the little girl is Romana or something. River is really the Master and the Doctor's wife. And Rory remembering things as a plastic Roman, while very sweet and rife with spin-off potential (OH HEAVENLY MOFF, JUST GIVE ME ONE SERIES, MINI-SERIES EVEN! THAT'S ALL I ASK,) doesn't make any sense.
You know I love a show when I start making crack for it. Welcome to the prestigious crack club, Doctor Who.
NON-SPOILERY REVIEW: This episode was creepy as HELL! And awesome.
