THE OUTCOME SO FAR
Well my ex was arrested on site at the courthouse for the violation of the injunction plus aggravated stalking which was a felony but they reduced it to a misdemeanor.Im sure he will have a lawyer in court for that one which i do not have to be present at.However at the violation of injunction trial I could have gotten my injunction of protection for as long as lifetime if need but he played stupid and told the judge he didnt speak english...ok i was married to him 9 years i think i know he speaks english quiet well i taught him.They did not let me submit any evidence including the voicemail of him cursing me out in perfect english,past police reports,the animal abuse case,hell i didnt even get to talk.I undertand why though it was just a cival injunction order.Anyway i suppose mommy and daddy bailed him out a day and a half later {there was a temp. hold on him from the deputy thank God}so he spent a little time in county.His bond was 10,000.So anyway I have to go face him again on July 10th at 8:45 am for the injunction.Why didnt he just agree and let me have the damn injunction?Oh I know to make it harder on me.Today is my stepdaughters birthday.Two years in a row I havent been able to give her a gift or see her.She was my life.I raised her from 2 yrs old until 10+ when he and I split up.I have seen her a handful of times in 2 years.I have no rights as a stepmother.And I have no money for a lawyer.As far as the animal cruelty case goes I believe the Deputy is burnt out with the case he can never make contact with my ex and he said he just wants to get the case closed.I guess hes still trying just not with as much enthusiasm.Wish me luck,my life and my familys life is in danger as long as he is out,but then again he knows so many gangbangers and his family I'm sure he will get me eventually.The question is when and where.I predict a drive-by shooting thats his style.Polk County Sheriff Office has been great though.They have showed more concern and been there for me through all of this.The dispatchers,deputys,animal services,even the jail has been very helpful.I feel they are doing there job to the best of their ability.The only thing I disagree with is that he should not have been released being an illegal immigrant.I have nothing against illegal immigrants but when you have one after your life you kind of wish he would go back to Mexico.
