Porn for fiber lovers...
I found a new knitting/crocheting shop in St. Louis, which I am happy about. It is like fiber porn, it is HUGE and they have many pretties. I got three hanks of some Noro Sakura (Colour No. 4) to make a lacy scarf for a friend. It is very pretty and very, very, very vibrant. I love this stuff!
Tomorrow I have my first knitting class tomorrow evening. It is one-on-one and it is only $15 for an hour. Plus they have a Wednesday Night Knitting Happy Time! I am very excited about the class becuase I think I need a human to teach me rather than the book. I just like the interaction. So, of course, it looks like my first project will be a scarf (of course!) and we will go from there. Plus my instructor crochets and I think I spent 40 minutes talking with her about various projects and stitches.
