Rant!
I think I'm going to stop sharing experiences with the people here up at work. They all come from two parent house holds where the parents have never been divorced. Most of them are strict Catholics (Not that there's anything wrong with that).
We were talking about the girl that got beat up in her friends house. I told them that it's not a perfect world. Parents can't control their children 100 % of the time especially when there is only one parent in the house. They think it's a perfect world and it's just not. Not everything can be stopped.
I told them hom my Mom couldn't control my sister when we were growing up and the my sister would kick and hit my Mom sometimes. They were saying that we weren't raised right from the beginning. Well yes, Mom and Dad did discipline us when they were together but after my Dad left my brother and me decided to listen to my Mom but my sister didn't. The one guy in my group asked me if I did anything to stop her since it was my little sister. I told him I was a kid.. It's not my responsibility to raise my sister and that I would have just gotten beat up if I joined in.. He said that's the wrong attitude to have. He said that the problem with kids these days is that God isn't in there life.. No offense what has god got to do with it..How does he know god isn't in our/there lives? We did go to church when we were young it's just that my sister decided to not follow rules..
People like that think that cuz they were raised in a perfect sunshiny home that everyone did...Open your eyes people!
Besides you know how many code of conduct items he violated by talking about that kind of stuff at work..Yea, and that's not the first time. I could get him fired if I wanted to but I'm a nice person.
