The Flood
Last weekend, there was flooding in my hometown. This video is pretty wild -- my driveway (to the house I grew up in, that subsequently burned down) is just off camera to the right.

For the dozen or so people on my friendslist that came up for the clam festival in 1998 (I may be off by a year in either direction), this is the river we bathed in, and about a 15 minute hike downstream from that waterfall.
