Decorating my cellphone

Aug 17, 2012 12:59

The other day I went to Panduro and suddenly I just felt like decorating my cellphone, even though I know that that kind of cellphone fashion is probably out of date already...

However, it's such a waste for the pearls to just lie in the box and not be used, so yesterday I picked them out and decided to give it a try.

Entertainment is an important part of doing handicraft and so I was switching between Faith (with Lee Minho), Detective Investigation Files IV (yes, that old one) and CNBLUE concerts.

I selected the decorations and pearls I wanted to use, but I still had to try different compositions before the glueing.

When I was happy with my choice it was time to clean the cellphone.

Then I started with glueing the ginger bread couple and the ribbon to the phone. A tweezer is a must have when doing detailed work as this.

One more ribbon and some "bling bling" pearls...

"Colouring" the left corner with different kinds of pearls...

Adding flowers and white pearls.

Hearts and more blings.

Filling the empty spaces with smaller pearls.

And...

Done!

^_^v

... so that the old cellphone won't feel lonely anymore. You can see a certain resemblance between the two phones, right? I guess I like this kind of style with pearls covering the phone surface, with flowers, ribbon, cute things and lots of "bling bling".

本当に楽しかったです。♥
