Regretsy VS Etsy

"Handmade? It looks like you made it with your feet."

I stumble on this site/blog Regretsy one day when I was reading comments in the EGL community. It seems to be a reaction site versus this site Etsy.com which is a trading site where you can sell your shit stuff and buy new craps. But honestly, if you search through the stuff that people are selling there, a lot are rubbish junk that I wouldn't even have if you so paid me... O.o

The blogger on Regretsy is sometimes very harsh and most time sarcastic in her langugage (or maybe because I'm not really on the same English level as her), so I don't always understand if she is being ironic or liking it, because sometimes she sounds entusiastic about things. Her sense of humour is kind of weird, but very apting and often hits the spike.

Seriously, do people really think the things they're selling/offering are wanted by other people???!! But obviously, it appears to be like that, because there are actually people stupid like that who buy these stuff.

I admit that I might think some of the stuff could be cool... if you make them yourself to keep for yourself; as a hobby; as an activity with your friends or with the kids. Handmade things feel more personal and unique and I think they will be appreciated as a gift for those you know and who knows you. But to sell them to strangers....? Na. I wouldn't buy.

Nor would I wear this even though it's a green dress...

Thanks, but I think my sister is better at this. She is.

Ah, good use of old CDs!

Cover the mirror!

The conversation subject of the evening.

Don't have any jewelry to wear...?

Ew... what's this?

I think this takes the prize! O.o
(though she actually did some kind of auditing to her selling post, the first one was horrible...)
