Rafting

I think this was the coolest or one of the coolest parts of what we experienced on our trip; so much fun and we laughed like crazy. My body ached a lot afterwards but there was no reason to complain. ^^

Here come the vikings. Especially me and Fung. XD

We went with the Outlaws and they took the pics. Our guide's name was Dan and he did a great job.

I'm glad I didn't bring my camera, because it wouldn't have survived. At first I jumped into the water myself, but later I was pushed in... (actually, we all were). My sneakers didn't like it, at all. ^^;

As you can see, we got a little bit wet...

... but we survived. ^^

The water was cold, I can tell.

After the rafting we went to... Starbucks!

Green Tea Frappucino. Yummy!

When you're in Durango, you should also visit...

Navajo Lake

I think the lake is beautiful and a remarkable oas in the desert, but yet I didn't feel too good about it (a bit inhospitable) and I totally didn't feel the urge to take a swim in it... T_T

Anyway, it's still a place worth going to for sightseeing and picnic. Take some photos and prove you've been there! ^^

Pagosa Hot Springs

Not really the same feel as onsen in Japan, but equally nice though. You go into the hot springs and when you feel it's getting too hot, you can just jump into the river to cool yourself off and then go into the hot springs again.

We didn't take pictures when we were in the springs, so I googled some pictures for you. =)
More here.

We added $5 to get to the hot springs that were located upstairs. That place was free from kids and thus a lot more peaceful. My favourite spot was where we could watch the other hot springs and the river. Later it started to rain and the contrast between the hot water and the cold rain was great.

The water is warm and small fishes are swimming in the pond.

Stand beneath the waterfall and it will give you a nice massage.

Ketchup chips after the hot springs is just so right. Honestly. ^^

Restaurants in Durango worth trying out...

Steamwork

Steamwork's Original Cajun Boil. It's a bit hot, but very tasty. And... you eat with your fingers. =)

Sushitarian

Sorry for the crappy pics, but I didn't put the flash on. The sushis were delicious, really not bad for a place as small as Durango and that far from the sea...

* * *

That's all for now! ^^
