Drops of God...

Yup, wine. ^^;

Tanabe Seiichi is the antagonist!!! Kame and Tanabe in the same drama! (could it be better? well yeah, if it were Akame....) XDD
Although, I think Tanabe will turn out to be annoying later on in the drama. I hope that his character will be deeper than that he's only after the wine. T_T

Anyway, episode one watched three times, first raw, then with the Chinese subs, then softsubbed, now waiting for JOR's version to come out... I never get tired of Kame's expressions. He looks mature in this, yet boyish and of course very cool and handsome. Me like. *nods*

Not going to review the episodes, will only say that you shouldn't miss this, after all it's Kame. And wine. Looks delicious, maybe I will try out some of them.

... list of wine in ep01

1. DRC Richebourg
* Shizuku's dad brought that to his mother's grave, the flower wine.
* It tasted sour and bitter at first, but after having switched glasses (Shizuku poured it) it tasted delicious, and you discover you're in a flower field all of a sudden.
* BUT.... When drinking in the (father-daughter) restaurant this same wine, they only poured it directly into the glasses. And Shizuku came to the flower field right away, realizing his father actually had brought flowers (100 flowers) to his mother. ^^;

2. Château Mouton Rothschild ('90)
* Shizuku dropped the wine glass since only the very scent of the wine made him remember something from his past.
* The same wine was used again in the second duel, this time, they were to describe the taste of the wine. Tomine said it was a painting. Shizuku tasted the bitterness of his memories.
* Château Mouton Rothschild ('85), Shizuku's birth year, it's something about this wine that he dislike.

3. Verget Chablis Premier Cru (2002)
* The wine which didn't turn out well with the oyster.

4. Château de Saint Cosme
In the restaurant where Tomine was critizising this wine was served twice, firstly from the bottle which was opened one hour before serving, secondly when Shizuku poured into another glass bring immediately after opening the wine bottle, thus bringing the best taste out of the wine.

Bacchus.
