Are you allowed to use a red pen to correct answers? I'm told red pens aren't allowed in the world of education anymore, because red ink has become a negative symbol and will shatter students poor little egos.
Not that anyone's allowed to correct spelling anymore.
And,,.this past fall I had to teach one of my actresses how to instill fear with a yardstick, as she had never been woken from a pleasant daydream by a healthy slap from a ruler before.
