1. Was up from 12 to 4 writing, and now my daylight time is a bit skewed by grogginess. Styrofoam head, and invisible leach to the spine.
2. But still can't wait till I've revved up to get back to it.
3. Was wondering about the "play-with-ability" of the book, and how, having thought out so many complex and meaningful schemes, I didn't want to play in them. Or with the main character, an amalgam of carefully jettisoning cliches. In the end, both made for horrible straitjacketed writing constipation.
4. But somehow, this start is fun. The voice is fun. Am afraid I will curse it and spoil it, but I have to say, I like my own thing for a change. It's been so long.
5. On a segue, my amazon order seems to have gone missing over the English Channel. eh.
