Hehe, work stories.... I usually LOVE my job at Starbucks, love the co-workers, love the free coffee.....but when you get customers who say "I want a half decaf latte with three percent milk and heated to EXACTLY 125 degrees....." You are like: "FIRST of all, you freak, there is NO such thing as three percent milk! And I'm sure you would like your drink cooler than usual but I'm pretty sure no one would be able to tell if it was EXACTLY 126 degrees..." but really you say "Ok, then, will that be all for you?" and give them two percent milk because they are on crack.
Its not that I mind heating drinks to different temps. If you pay four dollars for coffee, you damn well have the right to be picky. but there is one guy who was a total ass when he asked for his latte at 180 degrees then when he got it, tasted it and said "FIRST of all, this is NOT 180 degrees...it's more like 170....do it again....and I don't taste the espresso" and we are like "sir, we gave you the four shots of espresso you asked for, would you like to add another?" and we charge him for another shot and he says "you don't know wtf you are doing, i'm not paying for another shot but you better give me one...."
Customers are just evil sometimes. XD Then again, sometimes they're wonderful. Usually I find it balances more on the side of evil, but that just makes the really nice ones seem even cooler.
