Dinner was at a chinese restaurant yesterday with the girlies. Its definitely unusual for me to step into one because I only fancy seafood restaurant by chinese in particular, and such trips are mostly accompanied by the parents.
Stepped into Canton Paradise @ JCube #likeaboss yesterday cos kaishin was already inside before us due to the massive jam and limited parking; and I can instantly feel yet-another-ah-tiong-place. Nice decorated and the manager was helpful by moving us to a round table since there were 5 of us. But taking orders were slow perhaps there is a lack of staffs and food was mediocre.
Custard buns were too watery, not even to a pass. Seafood crispy noodle was a so-so and wanton mee soup tasted horrible according to the girls. Char siew pastry and honey bbq char siew buns were good; the roasted pork were crispy! Nothing much to comment on. :/ For the price that I'm paying, definitely not returning again. Kungfu paradise which is downstairs would be a better choice. :)
