(no subject)
The Airbnb thing went really well! It kicked my ass into getting the common areas of the house clean, as well as the car, and the guests were great. They're already on their way home, but I took some time this morning to update my listing and hopefully get a little more traffic for it. I lowered the price, too, which I feel kind of bad about doing right after someone stayed here at a higher rate, but I noticed that nearby places were all listed a lot cheaper so I figured I'd get more action if I dropped it a bit. I added a couple of pictures of the space and wrote some more details on my listing. We'll see what happens.
My plan for today is to take my bike downtown, eat at the food carts, stock up on a few more bead stuffs (I have a coupon!), and then go for a ride with Dave. Maybe play some more games. We went on a field trip together to Rainy Day Games and got a whole bunch of new games, mostly ones that are good for 2 players, since the two of us have a lot of random game nights together. Yesterday we played Carcassonne: The Castle for the first time, which is a really great 2-player twist on the original. It takes some getting used to, because the rules of how you can play your tiles are very different, so that fucks with your head a bit at first, but we played two games of it yesterday and were more or less up to speed by the time we finished the second. We'll probably play more today :)
It's been cloudy at night so I haven't seen any meteors yet, but I'm not sweating it because we actually saw quite a few shooting stars at Dodd's Farm last week. I can't complain that I'm not getting my share of beautiful things.
