Thanks for the coment.

But this is not really where I was going. I am trying to look at the situation from a slightly different perspective.

The energy situation that we are in comes from a paradigm of living with entirely too much waste. It really doesn't matter where the energy comes from or how it is used, it matters what we do with the waste. Thinking that it is somebody elses' problem is just not good enough.

Even if you switch over to solar and wind, what are you eventually going to do with the waste? Derelict wind machines crawling over the landscape really is not too attractive.

My suggestion to change the problem is to change the paradigm. I am not looking at a blazing campaign advertisement or big brother tactics of managing ones life. But more to just change ones own paradigm to manage their own waste. To grow in respect for themselves and others by taking responsible for their own life.

This creates a better life for everyone. It especially creates a better life for anyone that chooses to live with self responsibility and begin to merge into a community that shares the same values.

So what I am saying is not to change the energy dependence, but to change the paradigm that relies on excessive waste and begin to create a paradigm that not only uses energy more efficiently but one that creates an excessive amount of energy, vitality and creativity.
