I had to go to the dentist today to get fillings. First time having to and shit was it a horrible experience DX. I've never been so anxious and nervous and (kind of sort of)scared in my life. Ashamed to say that yes, yes indeed there were tears involved. F. I felt like such a freaking baby. The freezing worked for the most part-- There were only a couple instances where I started feeling pressure and stinging while they were drilling, which uh. Frankly freaked me right the fuck out. The only thing that made me feel al little better is that my dentist is the head of the Dentist's Federation around here. I can trust that he knows exactly wtf he's doing.
A few hours later, and I'm still waiting for my face to un-numb. Half of my lip, tongue, and my right cheek still have no feeling in them. Thankfully, I'm pretty damn awesome at drinking with a frozen mouth. No straw, and no dribbles. Boo yah. It's weird how numbness makes stuff feel less numb and more swollen. Except it's not swollen.
My mom's making me soup. Yay.
