How do you feel about Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert's competing programs and the effect they have on young viewers?
He laughed and shook his fist in the air declaring "damn him!" about Jon...which was SOOOOO cute. Then he went on to talk about how much he loved them and their shows. He said he thought they were great because sometimes all you can do is laugh at the stories, and they are able to say things other people (himself...) can't. Anderson went on to dissect each man and the differences between the shows saying Jon Stewart honestly wants to talk and learn something from you through discussion, while on The Colbert Report it became obvious to him that you're supposed to just sit there and let Stephen have his way with you.
