So it has been a small eternity since I last updated, but here goes!

I've been hella busy for the most part since I got home from Maine in August. Here are some of the highlights of what I have been up to in the mean time.

-I've gotten one semester of a three year grad program out of the way... That's nice, only 2.5 more years to go! Last semester one of my major projects was to design a special wagon for a sailing ship that was being used in our ballet. The special part was that it had to move and rock in such a way that it looked like a real sailing ship on the ocean. Quite the challenge!

-Another fun thing I was involved in were some automation projects. One of my professors, who paid some of my assistantship, owns a performer flying effects company. So since he contributed to my assistantship some of my work hours are for his company. On of the projects was a re-build on one of the large flying winches the company owns. I got to do most of the electrical wiring which was pretty cool.

-This semester I am doing a bit more teaching then I did last semester, which is kind of weird... It just strikes me as odd, that I stand in front of a class and talk, and people take notes... So anyway, I am teaching a unit on electricity for our advanced stagecraft class, and I am teaching a couple of class sessions in our beginning stagecraft class... So lots of fun new experiences!

-At home there is much craziness, though things are calming down... I am almost done with a small project in our bathroom... I ripped out some of the plaster and inset shelving into the wall, which will be handy since it has increased our storage space in the bathroom by at least 400%! Also, in recent news, Liz's little sister, who had been living with us, decided to move back home and finish up HS at her old school. Also, Jeremiah, our other roommate, has left until September... He has a job in South Carolina until May, and then back to Maine.

-Which brings me to my next bit of news... it looks like I will be spending my summer in Maine, working for Maine State Music Theatre. I have applied for the sound position, but if I don't get that, Jeremiah wants me to be his ATD. I really wanna do sound, but if I end up as ATD I'll get to come home sooner, so both jobs have their perks...

-Anywho, that's all I can think to write about for now...
