Oh soooo sore

Jan 10, 2006 03:09

Pat and I went running sunday night, and lemme tell ya, it has definatly been a while. We were fine and dandy till the very end. Running from my apartment to Imhoff, then to chataqua (cant spell), then to timberdell, and back around to my place. Here is the kicker, we sprinted from the North gate to the South gate, that whole span of the apartment complex. When we hit that north gate, we took off at a deacent last sprint. But when I looked at pat next to me, I just felt that good ole Cross country/track competativness hit me and I took off...as fast as I could possibly go. Well I definatly wasn't ready for that but I made it way the hell past Pat to the gate and about collapsed at the gate. God....my throat hurt from the cold, and my lungs felt like they were going to climb out of my body and just absorb air. After laying on the ground, and then stumbling back to my place, I promptly sat next to the toilet incase. My heart was going at a million miles a second and I was just sooo hot. Several glasses of water and rolling on the ground I finally felt better.

The moral? Definatly be ready for the consequesnces of your actions. It was just like the running days all over again, complete with sickness and sore muscles. But all is well, just have to sleep it off.

I'm not looking forward for the school part of the semester to start, but I want to get through to the summer 'cause I think it has some suprises in store =) Hopefully all good, but we shall see. I dont have to wake up till 10am on MWF, and 8:30am TH, so I get a bit more sleep. And with this "extra" time my profs have told us we would have compared to last semester, i'll learn how to play my guitar i've had for about a year, will be in a month oh yeah! And i'll be keeping in more shape, just to...you know, have more energy and...yeah be somewhat attractive =)

Definatly let me know what is going on with everyone this semester, i'll try to use my time to visit and keep in touch, because sadly the days are approaching and i'm getting in all I can.
