I, too, have a fancy ring...

So the other day we went down to the Jewelry Exchange in Sudbury so I could pick out a wedding band. I went with just a 14k yellow gold band, 'cause the white gold just didn't look like a bedding band, and there weren't any champagne-colored gold rings similar to Rhea's that were close to my size. But I like my new ring, and things feel more official now, almost 2 years later, haha...

I can't remember if I mentioned this, but the band is now Insurgency. There's some punk band, probably a high-school band even, named Insurgency as well from VA, but I don't even care anymore. If they want to put up a fuss about it, they can fight us for the name. I've got a purevolume.com and myspace.com account set up, and the website is now http://www.insurgencyhc.cjb.net (until I can find a better place to pseudo-host the site). We're going to record at least two songs this Sun. for internet distro purposes, and to help us set up shows, but we might just go ahead and record 4 or 5 songs for a 7-inch. Rich knows how to get that done, and it's cheaper than printing CD's (surprisingly); maybe 300 records for $300 or $400, I think? That doesn't include printing inserts, I imagine. It all depends on what we feel like recording, I guess. Buttons and pins to come soon, too.

In addition to the new Green Day, the newest My Chemical Romance and Coheed and Cambria discs have found their way to my heart. I've been listening to plenty of new hardcore courtesy of slsk, but these CD's are just superb.
