Well Here I am again,......Another Year has flown by, and another Ren-Faire is under the belt.
This was year 9 for the Ren-Faire, and also year Number 9 for my Beloved Temple Caffeinea I'm not saying that we're done/. Quite the contrary. we still have roughly 5 more events to go to,. But The big one is Over.
I was thrilled to be in my own bed an wake up to my Clock and everything that was where it was supposed to be. I didn't wake up stiff & sore from having slept on the ground and My shower yesterday was one of the most divinely enriching things that I had Expierenced in about 1 week.
The break From Lj has been nice and I admit that If I hadn't jumped back on this device, I probably could have gone a month or more not even thinking about it.
But On the other hand, I did miss it.
So On to more good news.
The Psycho-Drama @ my work has totally worked out to the ultimatly Best Out-come it could have. Our Bitch-Manager got Demoted, took a Pay cut(I'm sure) and My Friend/Roomate elenbarathi has been made my Direct supervisor. She is only answerable to The Boss and his Wife(Our Accountant). Our Jobs are secure and we can now go on peacfully exsisting and working how we used to when I first got hired.
Other than that,......I've been tired to no end,. Having to work on the weekends from 6 A.M.- 10 P.M. for the last three weeks. and then going home to work in between. Although Both those are Extremely good.
We didn't make nearly as much Money @ the Faire this year,. There's a lot of reasons why,. But the main part, is that another Food Vendor was there and they sell Espresso as well and for the first weekend they had their prices lower than ours. We compinsated by having our Runner go around to all the Merchant Booths and take Coffee Orders(For the Owners who couldn't get away) and bring them back to them. This saved Us, because we baiscally Lost all our Morning Buisness.
The Last Sunday I had a really nice time with a boy that I had been admiring for quite some time. It didn't Lead to sex,. But that was more than O.K. with me. He was pretty drunk and was probably not in any fit state to Enjoy it. Also,............He said he was a Virgin.
Now I'm just not sure if he meant,.......On the whole? or just with Men,.? But either way, while packing up on Mon.(The Day after) we sat and hung out and before he and I left to go home and he gave me His phone #.
Without Me Even ASKING! Holy Shit!
I haven't had that happen,.......EVAR!(Well without some sleazy comment or implied Sex being the only reason to call.) Now I have a Prospect, which seems Very Promising,. I'm trying not to Jinx it Nor Fuck it up by doing any of the stupid Emotional things that have ruined so many Other attempts at this sort of thing.
*Sigh*,......................I think Life Is Content right now.
And I think I'll take that.
So that's about it for now,.......There's been alot more things that have happened,.......but They aren't that severe, Nor are they happy, so It's not worth mentioning,.
