oh, juniper...
so there was a rather strange multi-state cat related adventure earlier this evening. a girl called and left a message about having found kevin's cat (juniper), and kevin was in st. paul visiting his parents, and we all thought, hey, we should call her and tell her we can pick her up, since kevin wont be back for awhile. so i called her, using someone's phone card, since it was a long distance number (of course, she must have a cell phone!) "hey, we can pick up the cat." "okay... i notice you have a 608 area code. where do you live?" "oh, by the lake, off langdon st." "what city?" "madison." "so how'd the cat get to st. paul?" doh. of course, kevin had taken juniper to st. paul so that she could live in his parents' house, and she'd gotten out. man, i must've sounded like such an idiot. so i had to run off and find kevin's parents number and call her back.
