Vehicle trade next weekend (3/26)?

Danielle and I are heading up to Tahoe NEXT Friday night (3/26). Anyone have a 4WD vehicle they'd be willing to trade with me for the weekend? I have a convertible Mustang you can use! And am happy to pay some standard rate for mileage on the Tahoe trip.

If it was from San Diego, you could borrow my Forester. I even have some "just in case" tire chains...

We're leaving late (8:30 Fri) -- I'm guessing that won't work for more carpool people. But if you are around then it's definitely an option!

I took a dinky little Honda Civic up there this week and I didn't even need to put on chains.

Right, but I'm guessing you didn't get caught in an unlucky snowstorm :-)

maybe it is far enough past the winter season where the risk is small? I dunno...

No, but the previous time we did. We put on chains and drove at 30mph like you're supposed to. All was fine.

Oh, right. It's the whole issue of chains I'm hoping to avoid. Figuring out the right ones, procuring them, learning how to put them on, actually putting them on removing them if necessary, etc.
