long time no post. things are well, thankfully, just busy! (too busy for caps, even!) we have started school again; brynn doesn't like hers, and danielle says hers is too easy so I have to give her extra work. the cat had some kind of reaction to a vaccine he got yesterday which he seems to be getting over; he was sluggish and sad. brynn is babysitting some frogs and has to catch bugs for them - which is somewhat entertaining as she doesn't like bugs, but she's doing a good job! i still don't have our schedule down pat so we're some sleepy people. i read sleepless in america which really made me think about the importance of sleep, especially for the kids, so i am trying to be better about that. i'm reading now the boy in striped pajamas, the pilgrim's regress, trying to read the ember series (which, while easy reads, so far are very good), and reading the simple abundance thing(devotional? self-help book?) which i can't decide if i like or not. also i have been realizing that i have a long way to go as a mother and a child of God - lots of flaws and shortcomings. thankfully, He promises to help me while i'm here!
