I HAVE A CAST!!
THE CAST. Alex, Alicia, Sam, Jenna, Sarah, Danielle, Amy, Cat, Peter, Jennifer, and Gilad. That's ELEVEN!! HOLY CRAP!!
I didn't get everyone I wanted (two who I really wanted dropped out because they were worried about how much of a commitment it would be), but I'm thrilled about the ones I did get. The gender ratio is kind of unbalanced (nine girls, two boys), as is the ethnic ratio (eight Caucasians, one African American, one Latina, and one half-Asian), but I didn't cast to fulfill a quota; I cast the people who would be good. So I'm ecstatic.
We have our first meeting tonight. We're just going to do some ice-breakers, figure out the rehearsal schedule, and define "body image." I'm so excited! I have no fucking idea what the hell I'm doing, but I'm still excited!!
I just hope no one quits...
I saw the House season six premiere last night, mostly on a whim, because I swore the series off after Taub and Kutner replaced Cameron and Chase. But since Kutner was killed off and Cameron and Chase restored to their former posts, I reconsidered. And...it was purely magical. And I never say that about television shows. It was fantastic.
