Benjamin is at daycare today and I need to be productive but I have no desire. It's only 9:30 but this is how I get myself in trouble. Thinking I have much more time than I actually do.
We got our gas bill yesterday and it was super high. Last month it was $21. This month it's $113. That's equivalent to what it was last November, according to the chart. It shouldn't be anywhere near that with the heat off. And clearly it's off seeing that it's summer and 90 degrees outside. So I called the gas company and they agreed it seems too high so they're sending someone out today to check the meter. No smell so I don't think it's a leak. And even if it was she said that's way too high for a leak, as they're usually small. I had the HVAC people come out to recheck the furnace & water heater but they said everything looks good. So I don't know. Hoping maybe it's just that our meter broke and they will replace it and not make me pay that bill. Just annoying.
