Hyukjae found himself inside the office of Doctor Shin. Kibum was having her check-up. Doctor Shin spoke, as if reading Hyukjae’s mind
Doctor Shin: So your friend knows?
Kibum shrugged her shoulders, Dr. Shin understood and followed another Question..
Doctor Shin: Should I keep it a secret.. or do you trust him?
Kibum: Please tell him..
Doctor Shin: I see, Hyukae?
Hyukjae nodded.. Inside he was thinking.. why/ pregnant? N.. kibum would never..
Doctor Shin: well you see, you friend here has a terminal case of leukemia..
Hyukjae’s mind exploded at the word Leukemia.. and terminal? What the heck?!?!?!
Doctor Shin: She has a slim chance of living but there is still hope.. bone marrow transplant is a hope however, her blood type is pretty rare..
HyukJae: can’t I be tested?
Doctor Shin: you see.. her blood type is a very rare one.. AB-, so.. unless you’re an AB-, it can’t help if you underwent testing..
HyukJae: but Kibum..
Kibum: I already accepted my fate.. I just want you to know.. You’re my friend.. I can’t keep a secret.. Can’t I..
Hyukjae nodded, It’s evident that tears are about to fall, Hyukjae can’t help it.. He’s emotionael.. and his childhood friend is about to die.. and he can’t do anything to help.. Nothing..
Doctor Shin: She’ll be taking some medications.. I exp[ect you to support her.. she needs it.. She’s weak and fragile but she is strong..
HyukJae: will she continue school?
Doctor Shin: Yes.. We’ve informed your school, there’s no problem but just keep this a secret to your classmates and friends..
Kibum: I don’t want to be pitied..
Hyukjae nodded and soon they left the office.. by now he was crying, he felt as if a part of him died.. Kibum was his closest Childhood friend.. he can’t let her go that way..
And They reached Hyukjae’s house where a small group gathered.. As he swung open the door, a confetti showered them.. and they greeted.. Welcome back Kibum! Kibum smiled at the sight.. memories she will keep. And there Hyukjae knew and decided.. I will protect that smile no matter what..
Leeteuk: kibummie..
Kibum: Teukie-unni..
The older female hugged the younger one as if being reunited with a missing sister. She then introduced the rest of the guests..
Leeteuk: Kibum, I want you to meet my boyfriend.. this is Kangin, my teukiebear
Kangin blushed slightly as he would never want to be called in such a mushy name..
Leeteuk: Then there’s his sister Donghae, she’s Hyukjae’s Fishy..
There was a puzzled look in Kibum’s face.
HyukJae: My girlfriend!
Kibum: oh.. I see.. nice to meet you.. Donghae?
DongHae: You can call me Hae.. you look so tired.. are you ok?
Kibum: no worries.. jetlag..
HyukJae: there’s Kyuhyun with Sungmin, then Ryeowook and Yesung then Finally Henry.. got that? Let’s eat.
Hyukjae was really hungry and so he introduced the others in a hurry.. It was a feast. Dara lee cooked a fantabulous dinner for them.
Yesung: so Kibum.. where are you staying?
Kibum: Christine suggested to..
Henry’s eyes widened [as if possible] at the slight mention of Christine’s name..
Henry: You know Christine?
Kibum: Yes.. she’s a close friend..
Henry: How is she?
Kibum: She’s fine, and btw, she wanted you to have this..
Kibum handed a small package which Henry carefully took and unwrapped. IT was a Panda Cellphone accessory.. and a note..
I love pandas.. Do you? Happy Birthday!

Time for School, and Kibum as adjusting to her new uniform. IT was a bit short for comfort, Donghae comforted her..
DongHae: You’ll get used to it.. Let’s go..
And so they walked to their room. Kibum was smiling at the new friend she made.
Kibum was introduced to the class and she already made a couple of admirers

During Lunch.. Ryeowook cooked for them, giving each a packed lunch, even Henry joined them. Donghae sat with Hyukjae who sat with Kibum. Kyuhyun raised an eyebrow but was ignored. During those time, Hyukjae was talking and talking and talking to Kibum.. about the past.. her stay .. the winter.. what else.. it’s kibum.. kibum this kibum that.. and Now sungmin raised his eyebrows.
Ryeowook was a little worried.. Donghae’s fragile.. she won’t take heartbreaks easily.. she fears for hyukjae.. what will knagin do to him when he breaks Hae’s heart.. Kibum Who are you?
A/N: I’ll leave it like that since I’m sleepy but I’ll make up for it.. the next chapter will be pretty emo and all but I’ll be making it with my sister since it’s her most awaited part..
